multiple thermoluminescence (TL) and infrared stimulated luminescence (IRSL) dates bracket the hominid level at between 35 +/- 4 and 14 +/- 2 kyr, and 14C ages associated with it are centered at 18 kyr "dark brown silty clay" found together with unnamed "animal remains and stone artefacts"
