Fossilien und Beschreibung der Fundstelle:
Macrofossils,mesofossils, Reference-level MP1-5 of the mammalian biochronological scale for the European Palaeogene. Although not precisely dated, has been correlated with the earliest Selandian based on stratigraphy (Steurbaut 1998), and more recently to the latest Danian (Steurbaut & Sztrakos 2008). The borehole that yielded the fossils encountered continental deposits between 8.50 m and 38.52 m in depth. Of the 30 m of continental deposits, only the section between 11 and 25 m yielded vertebrates (De Bast and Smith 2016).
